Portsmouth, Va. - Two Saturday night Portsmouth shootings kept police busy over the 4th of July holiday.
First, crews responded to a call at 9:17 p.m. at 1 Bide A Wee Lane where a 23-year-old female had an injury to her leg consistent with a gunshot wound.
The second shooting was in the 30 block of Swanson Parkway. Police received a call at 10:59 p.m. of a 15-year-old female who was struck in the leg by gunfire.
Both victims were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At this time police do not have any suspect leads or a motive in either case.
