Virginia Beach, Va. – The 2015 NAS Oceana Air Show will take place on September 19 and 20. The event will display the best of military and civilian aviation for attendees from all over the world.
For this year’s show, NAS Oceana will honor the service of Vietnam Veterans and will commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to thank and honor our veterans, including those held as prisoners of war or listed as missing in action.
The show will feature the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron and the Blue Angels. Other performances will include the GEICO Skytypers, A-4 Skyhawk, Shockwave Jet Truck, and other demonstrations by civilian aviation and U.S. Navy air power.
Gates will open at 8 a.m. on both days of the event. Flying will begin at 10 a.m.
