Portsmouth , VA – Portsmouth Police say they are investigating a double shooting on the 5600 block of Darby Close.
Police say a 22-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were each shot in the leg around 6:25 p.m.
Both were taken to the hospital but police say their injuries were non-life threatening.
Neighbors who heard the gun shots say they were shaken up by the incident.
“We heard anything between eight to twelve shots and we ran into the house,” says Monique Knox, a neighbor. “It was extremely scary.”
There is still no word on any suspects or the motive behind the shooting.
