Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk Animal Hospital will hold a free Summer Doggie Wash to benefit the Suffolk Humane Society.
On Saturday, July 25, Suffolk dog owners are invited to bring their dogs for a bath and blow dry by hospital staff and SHS volunteers.
The event is from noon to 6 PM at the Suffolk Animal Hospital, 1232 Holland Road in Suffolk. All bathing supplies will be provided.
While the event is free, donations of $10 or more are suggested. All proceeds will help support SHS’s programs promoting the health, welfare, and permanent homes of the community’s companion animals.
The SHS Foster Program will have adoptable dogs at the event as well. People can meet and interact with these dogs, as well as learn about adoption requirements from on-site SHS volunteers.
