Two arrested in connection to several thefts from vehicles in Suffolk neighborhood

Suffolk, Va. – Two people have been arrested after police say they stole items from residents’ vehicles in a Suffolk neighborhood.

This happened in the Lakeside and Riverview neighborhoods.

There were several reports of two people who were tampering with vehicles in several downtown communities.

Now police have arrested Dorian McLaughlan, 19 and Daylan Wilkins, 18.

McLaughlin has been charged with petit larcenies and entering the vehicle of another to commit a crime. Police say this comes after 14 vehicles in 10 different locations.

Wilkins, 18, was arrested and charged with grand larceny, petit larcenies, and entering the vehicle of another to commit a crime.

Police say 17 vehicle were broken into in 13 different locations in this instance.

More charges are pending against both. Wilkins has been released on bond.
