VIPIR Forecast: Tracking showers and storms, then a drop in temperatures and humidity

Posted
and last updated

Scattered showers and storms this evening, then heat we can tolerate….As we move through this Wednesday evening, a few scattered showers and storms are possible, all courtesy of a cold front that’s sweeping through the area.  Any storms that develop could produce heavy rain and gusty winds. Otherwise, expect partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows will be in the low and mid 70s.

Once the front is to our south, we’re going to see slightly cooler temperatures and lower humidity values over the next couple of days. In fact, on Thursday and Friday, highs will be in the low to mid 80s under a mix of sun and clouds. Rain chances will be very low on both days.  But don’t get used to the cool down. High temps are on their way back up, just in time for the weekend. We’re expecting highs in the 90s Saturday and Sunday. Highs will stay in the 90s for the start of next week, too.  Enjoy!

Tonight: Partly Cloudy. Scattered Showers/Storms (30-40%). Lows in the low to mid 70s. Winds: N 5-15 mph.

Thursday: Partly Sunny. Stray Shower (10%). Highs in the low to mid 80s. Winds: N/NE 10-15 mph.

Friday: Sun and Clouds. A Warm Day. Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.
