Wednesday’s VIPIR Forecast: Tracking a cold front

Another storm chance… A cold front will push through the Mid-Atlantic today, bringing us another chance for storms and more comfortable weather to finish the week. Scattered showers and storms are possible this afternoon and early evening but the potential for severe storms is lower. Highs today will return to the upper 80s. A drop in temperature and humidity will move in behind the cold front.

Expect highs in the low to mid 80s for Thursday and Friday with a mix of sun and clouds and low rain chances.

Today: Partly Sunny, Scattered Showers/Storms(40%). Highs in the upper 80s. Winds: W/NW 5-15

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms(30%). Lows in the mid 70s. Winds: N 5-15

Tomorrow: Partly Sunny, Isolated Showers(20%). Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: N/NE 10-15

Claudette is now a post-tropical cyclone as it continues to move northeast toward Newfoundland.
