Hampton, Va. – Two Tidewater teams, the Peninsula Pilots of Hampton and the Edenton Steamers of the Albemarle face off Saturday night in War Memorial Stadium in Hampton.
With the Steamers and Pilots 1st and 2nd in the Coastal Plain League respectively, the teams will be duking it out for bragging rights across Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina.
The Pilots won the Coastal Plain League championship last year, but the Steamers are solidly in first this season. Only time will tell if the Pilots will keep their crown, or if the boys from Carolina will take over the throne.
The game starts at 7:05 PM and admission is $5.
