Chesapeake, Va. – Police are searching for a driver who fled from a traffic stop in Chesapeake and ended up in Hampton before running from the car.
Officers had attempted to conduct a traffic stop at 1am at George Washington Highway and Canal Drive when the vehicle drove off and the pursuit began.
The pursuit ended at Shield Street and Columbia Ave in Hampton with the driver running away.
There was one passenger in the car who was not taken into custody.
