Not as hot or humid… Finally a break from the extreme heat and humidity. Highs will only reach into the mid 80s this afternoon. The cold front that brought us storms yesterday is settling across the Carolinas. We will stay on the cool side of the front with highs near the mid 80s for the end of the work week and weekend. Expect a mix of sun and clouds today with a very slim chance for a shower.

The chance for showers and storms will increase for Thursday, especially for North Carolina and the Southside. Rain chances will decrease for Friday and the weekend.

Today: Partly Cloudy, Not as Hot. Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: N/NE 5-15

Tonight: Partly Cloudy. Lows in the upper 60s. Winds: E/S 5-10

Tomorrow: Partly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms(30%). Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: E 5-10
