Portsmouth, Virginia – A man was shot in the arm in the 3700 block of Greenwood Drive around 12:30 a.m. Thursday morning, according to Portsmouth Police.
Police say a short time later, another person walked into Maryview Medical Center who had been shot in the backside.
Police have not yet confirmed that the incidents are related but say they received a call for gunshots in the area of Median Circle and Greenwood Drive just before the first person was shot.
The shooting remains under investigation and no suspect or arrest information has been released.
