Dominic’s VIPIR Forecast: Tracking a few showers and storms to start the work week

Posted

Showers and storms are possible….Wow! What a weekend. We saw plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures and lower humidity values. But as we begin the work week, some of us will have to dodge a few showers and storms. On Monday, keep your rain gear handy. A few morning showers are possible. Then, by late afternoon into the evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible. Some of the rain late in the day could be heavy. Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures will rise into the upper 80s. On Tuesday, widely scattered showers and storms are possible as well, but the day won’t be a washout. We’ll see partly cloudy skies otherwise with highs in the upper 80s. By Wednesday and Thursday, the heat and humidity will creep back up. Highs will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s. More rain moves in next Friday and Saturday with a stalled front.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy. Isolated Showers Late North (20%). Mild. Low temperatures in the lower 70s. Winds: S 5-10 mph.

Monday: Partly to Mostly Cloudy. Chance of Showers and Storms (30%). High temperatures in the upper 80s. Winds: SE 5-10 mph.

Tuesday: Sun and Clouds. Chance of Showers and Storms (20-30%). High temperatures in the upper 80s. Winds: E 5-10 mph.
