Missing Newport News woman with dementia back at home safe & unharmed

UPDATE: Mrs. Park returned home safely around 1:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon unharmed. 

Newport News, Va. – Loved ones are desperately looking for a missing 85-year-old Newport News woman.

Ahn Kang Park

Ahn Kang Park was last seen by neighbors Friday, July 24 around 2:00 p.m. as she was leaving her home in the 400 block of Dunmore Drive. She was seen driving a 1997 silver Toyota with Virginia handicap tags 296 544.

Mrs. Park suffers from the on stages of dementia. She is 4’10”, 98 pounds, with black hair.

Family members notified police just before 4:00 a.m. Saturday morning after their search was unsuccessful.
