Man charged in fatal Norfolk shooting

Norfolk, Va. – Police have now arrested a 33-year-old man who they say shot and killed another man in Norfolk.

The fatal shooting occurred on July 26th, 2015 just before 4 a.m. in the 400 block of Chapel Street.

When police arrived, they found 31-year-old Jarrod E. Lamb suffering from a gunshot wound.

Lamb was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

They’ve arrested and charged Theron Hammond in this homicide.

He has been charged with second-degree murder, malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
