I'm sure you haven't missed it one bit, but humidity is going to make a comeback this week. As we head through the work week, each day will get a little muggier until we're back in the uncomfortable range by Thursday.
And with more humidity in the atmosphere, we'll have more fuel for scattered afternoon storms. A few storms are possible (25% chance) the next few days, with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Expect highs in the mid-to-upper 80s and lower 90s.
Ahead of an approaching cold front, Thursday is looking like the steamiest day. A southwest wind ahead of that front will bust temperatures into the upper 80s and lower 90s, with heat index values near 100 degrees. An isolated storm (20% chance) is possible on Thursday. But storm chances (30%) go up on Friday as the cold front arrives. And some scattered storms are possible this weekend, along with slightly cooler and less muggy weather.
