Tuesday’s VIPIR Forecast: More scattered storms

Posted
and last updated

Another chance for storms… Expect scattered showers and storms mixed in throughout today with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Like yesterday, rain chances will be hit and miss so it will not be a total wash out. Some storms could bring heavy rain and gusty winds but the severe threat is low. Highs will return to the mid and upper 80s this afternoon, near normal for this time of year.

Highs will climb into the upper 80s and low 90s for the second half of the week and weekend. We should see a bit more sunshine and a smaller chance for showers/storms for midweek. Storm chances will return for Friday as a front moves through.

Today: Partly to Mostly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms(30%). Highs in the mid to upper 80s. Winds: S/SE 5-10

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers/Storms(20%). Lows in the low 70s. Winds: SE 5-10

Tomorrow: Partly Sunny, Isolated Showers/Storms(20%). Highs in the upper 80s. Winds: SE 5-10
