Wednesday’s VIPIR Forecast: Warm and muggy with isolated storms

Posted
and last updated

A very summer-like stretch… When you think of summer in this region, you think of heat, humidity and a chance for showers and storms. That trend will continue for today. Highs will climb into the upper 80s but it will feel like the mid 90s with the extra humidity. We will see a mix of sun and clouds with hit-or-miss showers and storms. Highs will return to the upper 80s and low 90s for the end of the work week and weekend.

A cold front will move through late Thursday night, increasing our rain chances but not doing much for our temperatures. We are also tracking an area of low pressure which will slide up the coastline on Friday. Friday will likely bring our highest chance for showers/storms this week.

Today: Partly Sunny, Isolated Showers/Storms(20%). Highs in the upper 80s. Winds: S/SE 5-10

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers/Storms(20%). Lows in the low 70s. Winds: S 5-10

Tomorrow: Partly Cloudy, Overnight Showers/Storms(30%). Highs near 90. Winds: S/SE 5-10
