Newport News, Va. – A Newport News man is recovering after he was shot in the leg while sitting outside with someone on Wednesday night.
Calls came in about the shooting at 10:24 p.m.
The 28-year-old victim says he was sitting outside with another man when someone he did not know walked up to him and shot him.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police are still looking for the shooter.
