Chesapeake, Va. – A man was shot to death in Chesapeake early Saturday morning.
Officers responding to a call of shots fired in the area of Berkley Ave. and Crystal Ave. around midnight found a man in the yard of a home in the 600 block of Crystal Ave. suffering from gunshot wounds.
Fire Department personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene. He has been identified as 35-year-old William Watkins of Portsmouth.
There is no suspect information at this point in the investigation.
