Newport News, Va. – Police were called to the 2000 block of Criston Drive around 1:00 a.m. Sunday morning,
They say a 22-year-old Navy Reservist was suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower leg and groin area. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There was a party going on in a home at the location as the shots were fire, and it appears the victim may have been outside of the residence.
Police say they don’t have any suspect leads currently, but that the investigation is ongoing.
