Virginia Beach, Va. – Crews are currently on scene at a gas leak at the intersection of 42nd Street and Atlantic Avenue at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.
No evacuations were necessary, according to the Virginia Beach Fire Department. Traffic is flowing normally.
Crews earlier responded to a gas leak at 24th Street and Cypress Avenue. The gas leak occurred when a construction crew hit a line. Calls reporting the leak came in around 8:55 a.m.
That leak was fixed and the scene has since been cleared.
