Man sought for using stolen debit card in Chesapeake

Chesapeake, Va. – Chesapeake Police are looking for a man who used a stolen debit card to make purchases and withdraw money from an ATM.

Police say a man reported that his wallet had been list somewhere in the area of Sam’s Circle on June 1st. Inside the wallet was a piece of paper with the victim’s debit card PIN written on it.

The victim learned shortly afterwards that his card had been used to make nearly $500 in fraudulent purchases. The suspect also withdrew nearly $1,000 from a nearby ATM.
