Tracking showers and storms….Grab your rain gear! We are tracking scattered showers and thunderstorms in your VIPIR forecast over the next few days. A cold front will settle over the area, giving way to unsettled weather Thursday and Friday.  In fact, showers and storms will be likely Thursday afternoon through Friday as an area of low pressure moves along the front. Some of that rain could be heavy, capable of producing minor flooding. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures will be in the mid 80s on both days.

Some rain could linger into early Saturday morning. But the entire weekend will not be a washout. Saturday afternoon is trending drier, and Sunday is featuring a lot of sunshine. Highs will be in the mid 80s over the weekend.

Tonight: Partly Cloudy, Stray Shower/Storm (10-20%). Lows in the mid 70s. Winds: E 5-10 mph.

Thursday: Partly to Mostly Cloudy, Scattered Showers/Storms (40-50%). Highs in the mid and upper 80s. Winds: NE 5-10 mph.

Friday: Mostly Cloudy. Scattered Showers/Storms (60%). Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: E 5-15 mph.
