Norfolk, Va. – Norfolk Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 62-year-old Norfolk man who may be in need of medication.
Harold “J.R.” Molohon was last seen around 10:30 am on August 3rd 2015 at his home in Norfolk. “I am very hopeful that they can find him. I’m just hanging onto hope,” said Julie Molohon, his wife.
Molohon worked as a firefighter for more than 25-years. His wife says he’s always been dependable. “He’s a very funny guy,” his wife said. “He would help out anybody.”
On Wednesday, police found his 2004 Black Ford F150 in the Outer Banks of North Carolina near mile marker 16 in the Corolla area. His surfboard was found in the back of the truck, but no sign of him. “[It’s] tortoruous not knowing and waiting you know. Where is he?” Julie told NewsChannel 3.
He is 62-years-old, around 5’8” and weighs approximately 170 pounds. He has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes.
His vehicle has Virginia plates PF-1653, which are Professional Firefighter tags. There is a silver tool box in the back of truck, and a red oval sticker on the back window.
Police do not know the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and are investigating any and all possibilities.
