MINNEAPOLIS – Minneapolis police were in a standoff with a man who holed up in a downtown hotel where the National Association of Black Journalists conference is being held.
Police spokesman John Elder told the Associated Press the man was holed up in a room Thursday afternoon.
The NABJ later tweeted that the situation was over and that floor of the hotel had been reopened.
No other details were released.
