Virginia Beach Wells Fargo robbed

Virginia Beach, Va. – The Wells Fargo branch at 699 Independence Blvd. was robbed shortly before noon on Thursday.

At approximately 11:35 a.m. a man walked into the bank, presented a note demanding money, and then fled the scene after obtaining the currency.  No injuries were reported.

The robber is a white man 30 – 40 years of age, 5’ 9” – 5” 11”, 180 – 200 pounds, medium to heavy build.  He was wearing a dark colored ball cap with a white design, blue jeans, dark sunglasses, white bandana under the ball cap and tan boots.

He is believed to be driving a steel blue Ford Explorer.
