More rain and storms… Rain and storm chances will continue today as an area of low pressure moves over North Carolina. Like yesterday, expect mostly cloudy skies with several rounds of rain moving through the region. Thunderstorms and heavy downpours will mix in with the rain showers. Areas of localized flooding are possible again today. We could see an additional inch of rain overall with more in heavy downpours.

A few leftover showers will remain for Saturday morning but skies will clear through the afternoon. Winds will ramp up for Saturday, mainly form the northeast at 10 to 20 mph. We will see more sunshine on Sunday but still breezy. Highs will linger in the low to mid 80s for today and through the weekend.

Today: Mostly Cloudy, Showers/Storms(70%). Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: W/N/E 5-15

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy, Showers/Storms(40%). Lows in the low 70s. Winds: NE 10-15
