Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are searching for a person who accidentally shot another person early Friday morning in Virginia Beach.
The shooting happened around 2:15am at a home in the 1700 block of Solar Lane when the shooter pulled a gun out of a backpack to show someone else.
The gun accidentally went off, striking the victim in the leg.
The shooter, who had the gun illegally, ran from the home.
Police have not said if the shooter faces charges.
