Suffolk, Va. – Police say 57 year-old Haywood Day, of the 5700 block of Sports Club Run in Suffolk was killed when his motorcycle crashed on I-664 in Suffolk on Sunday just before 9:00pm.
Police say Day was riding a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he crossed in front of another vehicle at the entrance ramp to College Drive. That is when police say Day lost control, crashed into the guardrail and was ejected from his motorcycle.
Day was pronounced deceased at the scene.
