Newport News, Va. – A man who was shot in the leg early Thursday morning is refusing to cooperate with police.
Police and medics were dispatched to the shooting in the 700 block of 36th Street at about 3:25 A.M.,.
The victim, a 21-year-old man, was found outside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.
He refused to cooperate with investigators and there is no suspect information available at this time.
