Hampton, Va. – A 21-year-old man has been charged for allegedly robbing and strangling a man in Hampton.
Police say the robbery happened in the area of Hondo Court and Harris Creek Road on July 28th, 2015.
A man says he was walking in this area when he was approached by 21-year-old Tyler Forbes.
He says Forbes assaulted him and ran away from the scene after taking money and jewelry from him.
Forbes is no longer in custody.
Police have not released any other details.
