Soggy stretch ahead… We will have several chances for showers and storms over the next few days. Watch for clouds to gradually increase today with a few scattered showers/storms possible this afternoon. Highs today will return to the mid and upper 80s but it will be muggy.
Expect mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and isolated storms on Wednesday as an area of low pressure slides to our south. A cold front will push in on Thursday, increasing our chance for storms and severe weather potential. Highs will remain in the mid to upper 80s through the work week with high humidity.

Tropical Update
We are tracking an area of low pressure several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands. It has become better organized over the past 24 hours and environmental conditions appear conducive for additional development. A tropical depression will likely form within the next day or two while the system moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph.
