Tracking showers and storms….Stay VIPIReady! We’re tracking scattered showers and storms over the next couple of days, due in part to a cold front off to the west.  A few scattered showers and storms are in the forecast this evening ahead of the front. Some of the rain could be heavy at times. Otherwise, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies and lows in the mid 70s.

The cold front will sweep through the area Thursday, giving way to scattered showers and storms. Some of the storms could be strong to severe.  Heavy rain, minor flooding and gusty winds will be the primary threats, specifically by Thursday afternoon and evening.
