Posted
and last updated

Clearing skies… The cold front that brought us the rain and storms last night will be moving out today. We will still see some clouds and a few leftover showers through midday but more sunshine this afternoon. Highs will slip back into the mid 80s today with lower humidity. It will also be a bit breezy with north winds at 10 to 15 mph.

Expect a nice mix of sun and clouds this weekend with highs in the mid 80s. Rain chances will be slim through the weekend and early next week.

Today: Clearing Skies, AM Scattered Showers/Storms(30%). Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: N 10-15

Tonight: Partly Cloudy. Lows in the low 70s. Winds: N 5-10

Tomorrow: Mix of Sun and Clouds. Highs in the mid 80s. Winds: N 10-15

Tropical Update

Hurricane Danny gets a bit stronger. Danny is centered about 1000 miles ESE of the Leeward Islands and is moving WNW at 10 mph. The general WNW movement is expected over the next few days with a turn toward the west on Saturday. Some additional strengthening is possible today but Danny will begin to weaken on Saturday. Danny is a very compact hurricane with Hurricane force winds extending out about 10 miles from the center. Danny will likely approach the Leeward Islands on Monday and Puerto Rico on Tuesday as a tropical storm.
