Isle of Wight County, Va. – A man will spend the next two years and seven months behind bars after police say he sold heroin in Isle of Wight County.
Patrick David Simmons, 27, of the 8700 block of Smithfield Apartments was sentenced as part of a plea agreement on Monday.
He will serve his time in the Virginia State Penitentiary.
He was charged with distribution of heroin and possession with the intent to distribute a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school zone.
Simmons will also face supervised probation.
