Virginia Beach, Va. – A 38-year-old Virginia Beach man was sentenced on Tuesday after pleading guilty to possession of child porn.
Richard Allen Salayi was sentenced to 125 years with 103 of those years and 8 months suspended leaving 21 years and 4 months left to serve.
He pleaded guilty on March 7, 2015.
Officials say that back in October 2013, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Internet Crimes Against Children Bedford started to investigate Salayi.
Detectives searched his home on March 7, 2014 and found child porn images on CDs and his cell phone. He was then taken into custody.
He admitted to having the images but claimed he was going to collect information on offending websites and report them to police.
