A Savannah State University student in Georgia was shot and killed late Thursday in the school’s student union building, a spokeswoman said.
Christopher Starks, a junior from metropolitan Atlanta, died at a local hospital after an altercation at the union, according to Loretta Heyward, a spokeswoman for the school.
No arrests have been made, Heyward said.
University police and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are handing the case.
