Clearing skies and warming up… Expect a mix of sun and clouds today with an isolated shower possible. Highs will warm into the mid and upper 80s today. Highs will climb into the upper 80s to near 90 for Wednesday and Thursday. A scattered shower or storm is possible for midweek but rain will not be widespread. Highs will slip back down to the low and mid 80s for the weekend.

Tropical Storm Fred moves away from the Cape Verde Islands into the open Atlantic. Fred is centered about 200 miles NW of the Cape Verde Islands. Fred is moving WNW at 12 mph. It will continue into the open waters of the Atlantic over the next few days. Sustained winds are near 65 mph. Fred will slowly weaken over the next few days.
