Update: Police have identified the victim as Thomasina Houk, 41, of Suffolk.
Suffolk, Va. – One person is dead after her car rolled into a ditch Saturday afternoon in Suffolk off Great Fork Road.
Around 12:52 p.m., police found a 2005 Pontiac two-door sedan on its roof in a ditch. The driver, the only occupant, was pronounced deceased at the scene by crews.
The roadway will remain closed for several hours. Traffic is being detoured to Little Fork Road.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
