Gloucester, Va. – A woman was killed Saturday afternoon when her car crashed into several trees in Gloucester.
According to state police, the driver was Mary Owens Crosby, 35, of Gloucester. She died at the scene.
The crash happened around 12:27 p.m. on Route 613 south of Route 612.
Police say Crosby was driving a 2004 GMC southbound on Route 613 when she crossed the center line and ran off the road.
The car hit several trees and overturned.
Police say Crosby was not wearing a seat belt.
