Suffolk, Va. – A woman was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of West Washington Street and South Street in Suffolk.
Police received a call around 12:30 p.m. saying that a pedestrian was struck by a Dodge Ram 2500 pick-up truck.
The victim is described as an elderly female and was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Her injuries are described as “serious.”
The driver stayed at the scene.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
