Chesapeake, Va. – A Chesapeake Shell station was robbed at knifepoint early Friday morning.
Police say a man entered the station at at Battlefield Boulevard. & Wal-Mart Way with a knife around 1:45am and demanded money.
He ran with the cash and was caught a short time later across the street at the Studios 4 Less.
Police later identified the suspect as 18-year-old Daniel Barnett.
Barnett was arrested and charged with robbery, assault on a law enforcement officer, illegal possession of Xanax and drunk in public.
He was treated by medics for exposure to pepper spray.
There were no injuries.
