A cool and sunny stretch… Expect an early taste of fall this week. Temperatures will start in the 50s this morning with a few inland spots in the 40s. Highs will reach into the mid and upper 70s. We will see plenty of sunshine today with just a few clouds in the mix. Highs will warm slightly this week with highs near 80 on Tuesday and low 80s for the second half of the week. Expect plenty of sunshine and very low rain chances for most of the week.

Tropical Update
We are watching an area of low pressure located several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for development, and this system is likely to become a tropical depression during the next day or two while it moves generally northwestward across the central tropical Atlantic.
