Suffolk, Va. – Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire and Rescue are currently on the scene of an accident involving a Suffolk Public School bus and a car in the 4000 block of Pughsville Road.
Emergency communications got a call about the accident around 4:26 p.m.
A bus taking 43 students home from Creekside Elementary School and a Ford Fusion passenger vehicle sideswiped one another.
Fire and Rescue crews provided emergency medical assistance and there were no injuries to the students, bus driver, or driver of the car.
Officials from Suffolk Public Schools are also on the scene.
Students were put onto a different bus to take them home, while several parents picked up their children at the scene.
The 4000 block of Pughsville Road is currently closed.
