Tropical Depression Nine has formed in the central tropical Atlantic.
TD 9 is about 1200 miles east of the Lesser Antilles and about 1300 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands.
The storm is moving North-Northwest at 8 mph and will make a slight Northwest turn tomorrow.
Maximum winds are near 30 mph with little change in strength expected over the next few days.
