Men steal $5,000 worth of groceries from Virginia Beach Harris Teeter

Virginia Beach, Va. – Police are looking for two men who have been stealing thousands worth of groceries from a Virginia Beach Harris Teeter.

Police say that on September 8 at 7:14 p.m. a man entered the Harris Teeter at 2015 Princess Anne Road with reusable grocery bags in his shopping cart.

The man left the store around 7:20 p.m.

During the trip on September 8, he put over $300 worth of groceries in his cart without paying for them.

The suspect (pictured) and another man are suspected of committing this crime several times over the past couple months.

Officials say that the men are suspected of stealing over $5,000 worth of groceries to date.

One of the suspects is described as a white man, 50-60 years old, 6’0, 250 pounds, and balding white hair.

He usually wears a ball cap and always wears the glasses pictured.

Tipsters will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
