A VMI cadet is dead after collapsing during physical training today.
The school says emergency techs treated the first year cadet and took him to the school’s infirmary.
From there he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
VMI is not releasing the student’s name until family members have been notified.
The student’s death is under investigation.
