Hobucken, NC – Two people had to be rescued when they encountered bad weather near Hobucken.
A man and a woman were on a sailboat called the Sentimental Journey in the Neuse River.
Watchstanders received the call at 6:39 p.m. on Wednesday.
The crew arrived and took a man and a woman aboard their 45-foot response boat.
The man fell overboard during the transfer.
He was pulled out of the water by the Station Hobucken crew.
Both survivors were taken to the Oriental Marina.
