We’re tracking more unsettled weather for the work week….As we move through the week, we’re tracking several opportunities for rain in your forecast. The coastal storm that has impacted our weather this weekend will continue to give us a lot of clouds and a chance of widely scattered showers on Monday. However, a few of us may see some sunshine peeking between the clouds through the day. So, the day will not be a washout. Highs will be in the lower 80s. And while the winds won’t be as breezy, we could still see some minor tidal flooding around high tide on Monday, so keep that in mind. High tide times at Sewells Point on Monday are around 9:43 a.m. and 10:10 p.m.
On Tuesday, we’ll likely see partly sunny skies and growing rain chances during the day as a cold front approaches the area. That will send moisture in our direction in the form of rain through Wednesday. High temperatures will fall from the low 80s on Tuesday into the mid 70s on Wednesday. The cold front will stall along the coast going into Thursday, giving way to more rainfall and coastal flooding by the end of the week into next weekend.
