Chesapeake, Va. – Investigators have identified a homicide victim that was shot to death shortly after midnight Saturday.
Officer Sheth tells us that officers found a man lying in the grass behind some apartments in the 3100 block of Welcome Road.
Police have identified the victim as 25-year-old James P. Swain Jr.
Swain was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was described as a black male in his early 20’s.
Police say there is no suspect information at this point in the investigation.
The case remains under investigation.
